Who We Are...

Exodus 3 Ministries, Inc. (E3M) is a not-for-profit, faith based organization with a two fold purpose. First, to serve the Syracuse community, and second to serve hurting women, aged 18 years and older, with their children aged 0 to 12 years, who are experiencing hopelessness and homelessness. The mission of E3M is accomplished through both The Ministry and the proposed Exodus House. We are depending on the contributions of concerned individuals, businesses and the body of Christ—the church to support the ministries. Because we desire to remain free to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, we will not seek government funding. All contributions made to the ministry are tax deductible.

Exodus House is modeling its program after the City Mission of Schenectady/Family Life Center. The ministry of Exodus House will apply the principles of the Family Life Center by offering women and children housing, food, clothing, life skills, and other services deemed necessary for the development of self reliance. All services will be provided at no cost to the resident or their referring agency. Exodus House is scheduled to open in early 2012.

Our Mission...

Guided by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Exodus 3 Ministries is dedicated to providing a safe, secure, Christian environment in which women and children can receive physical, emotional and spiritual healing, be empowered by the word of God and learn the skills needed to become self reliant. The program components will assist the residents to build and maintain healthy interdependence with family, friends, church and community.

Why We Are Needed...

Many hurting women and children in the Syracuse community are seeking another option where they can be ministered to in a strength based, holistic manner. By sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with all who enter Exodus House, we endeavor to go to the heart of the matter and equip the residents to receive the healing provided by the Word of God. As they are being healed, they will also have an opportunity to learn new skills or to enhance existing skills in the areas of home management, educational/vocational skills, work ethics and other areas of training necessary for sustainable transition into their respective communities. We endeavor to create collaborative partnerships with other agencies and organizations; to close the service gaps and provide a safety net to hurting women and children within our community. One life at a time, we will carry out our mission to impact the City of Syracuse.

Statement Of Faith...

Salvation by Grace: We believe in salvation by grace. This is a free gift from God, given to all who believe in His Son Jesus, the Christ, and accept Him as the Lord of their life.

Deity of Christ: We believe in the deity of our Lord, Christ Jesus. Jesus is God incarnate, and was manifest in human flesh. He was like us in all ways except for one, being free from sin.

Holy Bible is the Inspired Word of God: We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. The Word of God is eternal and unbroken.

God exists in Three Persons-The Trinity: We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Virgin Birth of Christ: We believe that our Lord was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary.

Christ Died for Our Sins: We believe in the vicarious atoning death of Jesus, who died on the cross so that we might live—offering Himself up as the perfect sacrifice for sinful man.

Bodily Resurrection and Ascension of Christ: We believe that Christ is the risen savior. Jesus rose from the dead, ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.

Water Baptism: We believe that all believers should receive water baptism, as a demonstration of our faith, and in obedience to the commandment of our Lord.

Fruits and Gifts of the Holy Spirit: We believe in the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit, for the edification of the body of believers, and enabling the believer to live a life pleasing to God.

Bodily Resurrection of the Just to Eternal Life: We believe in the bodily resurrection of the Just to eternal life.

Second Coming of Jesus Christ: We believe in the second coming of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
